cannot import mp3 files that previously imported

Post by sconard » Tue Apr 16, 2013 7:03 pm

Auria now fails to import any mp3 files.
I have a 170 projects on an ipad mini 64 that are only using 10gb or so.
If I import any of the mp3s that successfully imported into other projects, the wav file that is shown has 0 level. It is the correct lentgh but there is no wave file present in the project folder.

What is wrong and how can I fix this?

Thank you,
steve

It looks like this might be a new bug that crept into 1.07. I've got this on my list to investigate.

Thanks,

I have 20 projects that are useless and cannot create new projects that have preview or will import mp3.

What is the work around?

Is it based on amount of storage?

Is there a projected release date for fixing the decoding or is this?

It really renders the software kinda useless for future projects.

Sorry for the trouble this may have caused. The only workaround I can suggest right now is to use another mp3 to wav converter to turn your mp3 files into wav files, then import them into Auria. Hokusai is a good iPad app for this, but there are many others on the PC/Mac. 1.08 is in Apple's hands at the moment and should be approved today or tomorrow, but unfortunately, I didn't discover this bug until well after it was submitted. I'll have this fixed in 1.09, and should have it ready to submit in a few days.
