Dm1 not recording in Auria with Audious

Still running on iOS7. Up to date with latest Auria, Audiobus and DM1.

First, I can't hear anything in DM1 unless I go into Auria, shut off Audiobus monitoring, then turn it back on.

Then, can't record. Input matrix is set to the desired track, I have the track armed and record button pressed. Go into DM1 and press the Auria play button, and it starts up. I play for a bit, then stop. But when I go back to the app after recording, there is no audio file on the track. I have Auria in Audiobus mode. Stopped everything, restarted it, Audiobus first, then DM1 and then Auria. I can hear my guitar tracks just fine, I can hear myself playing percussion, but not recording. Any suggestions? I have rebooted the iPad.

I have been able to duplicate this problem and it is as the other user reported. I am able to insert DM1 in IAA and DM1 clocks to Auria's tempo and starts and stops to Auria. DM1 is having some audio quality issues but other than that IAA is working with DM1 but not Audiobus. More likely an issue with DM1 and not Auria as Auria is working fine in Audiobus mode with most of my apps. Cheers. ~~_/)~~~*

DM1 does not record through AudioBus into Auria under iOS 8.0.2 either.

Well, I picked up Thumbjam, an tried both Audiobus and IAA, and same problem there. I like Thumbjam better anyways, but I'm not sure what the problem is.

Incredibly annoying, frustrating day. I really like Auria, but I'm now questionning this entire environment. Waste of a lot of time. It may be something I'm doing, but if it is, it doesn't seem very easy to figure it out.

The new version of Audiobus uses a completely different scheme for transferring audio between apps (it uses IAA under the hood now). I suspect it'll be a little while before all apps are up to speed and working the way they were before the update.

Understood, but that doesn't make my recording work, sadly. Can't get IAA to work, either.

New version of Audiobus came out this morning. Downloaded, still no love.

I've done some testing so far with DM1, and the issue does seem to be specific to DM1. I couldn't get it to record into any app in the Audiobus output slot, Auria or otherwise - signal was missing each time. Also DM1 displayed an "Error" message in Audiobus each time I loaded it into the Input slot.

Fingerlab posted on Facebook that they're aware of issues with the latest DM1 and iOS8, and they are planning an update this month.

You can shut this down. Completely my fault, and it's working now, at least Drumjam is. Haven't tried DM1.

So what were you doing wrong, Rick? (...so that we can avoid the same)

Forgot to turn off autopunch. Then did the class, "i updated all my software, so it must be broken." Normally I turn it off right after using it, so I don't get caught like this.
