Warning :8.1.1 freezes frozen channel strip ipad air2

New thread with more info after more testing from previous air2 crash thread ...

Latest 8.1.1 update on ioad air2 has made frozen channelstrips non-responsive to touch .

At first I thought it was just the un-freeze button that wouldnt work, but since realise the fader,polarity,sat,m,s ,pan/aux buttons also do not respond to touch .( m/s still turn on /off from main mixer channel !)
many attempts with fingers & stylus ,soft & hard reboots .
Normal channels work fine , and can be frozen ....but then cannot be unfrozen.

ipad air2/64 after updating to 8.1.1

Anyone else ?
Is this ipad air2 specific , or 8.1.1 affects other ipads the same ?

I'm not able to duplicate this here with that same setup. Can you try it with a brand new project? Maybe there's something specific with that project (and if so, I'd like to get a copy of it so I can see what's going on).

Happens on all (3) tested projects , and new specifically created one.

iPad air2/128 8.1.1

The unfreeze function no longer works on mine. Fader, mute, solo, etc. all still work.

The only way I have found unfreeze work is through undo.

I'm thinking of trying a re install , but presume Rim needs example projects first .

I just had the unfreeze problem as well...using iPad 4, with latest system and application updates.

Any word on this yet?

@jg707 , sorry for you , but as a new ipad air2 user, also relieved at first report on another device ...so it's not specific to air2 ..

Seems like this is an issue that started with iOS 8. I'll have a fix for this soon.

Same issue here. Frozen tracks don't respond at all on Air, latest iOS

This has been fixed and will appear in the next update. I'm hoping to submit it to Apple sometime early next week.
