Damn! Thought I had it all sussed, then just realised the rocks of despair beckon once more.
Got an iPad Air 2 and iTrack solo interface. Once I let Apple clean me out for the ridiculou overpriced lightning to 30 pin adapter I was in business. Hooked up to a set of Tannoy Reveals with TS10 sub and it's all sounding very nice. ITrack solo is powered by a 12000mah brick via usb.
Then realised....feck....how do I get midi in now? On my old iPad I used the camera kit to usb workaround. Because of the lightning to 30 pin adapter requirement, that option is no longer open.
So.....how to I get midi into my almost perfect (for me) setup?
What are my options?

Either a MIDI to USB cable or using MIDI hardware with a USB cinnection, both via the powered hub.
Re: What are my options?
Got the official Apple lightning to usb connector and , via the powered hub, all systems are GO!
Feck me, Apple know how to charge. that's nearly £60 for two effing cables that must have cost 60p if even to make.
