Behringer B-1 Mic through Alesis IODock 2

Post by JB5056 » Thu Jan 10, 2019 2:50 am

I am trying to record vocals using a condenser mic that is plugged into the Alesis iO Dock II. I have phantom power turned on on the iO Dock but am getting no signal into Auria Pro. My iPad Pro is the 9.7 size. I could use my iPad Air 2 if that is the problem. Please help and thank you.

Just one more small piece of info. When I plug my ipad into the iO Dock the blue INT turns to USB. I am referring to the indicator that shows the mic input.

Behringer B-1 Mic through Alesis IODock 2 SOLUTION

Post by JB5056 » Thu Jan 10, 2019 3:20 pm

So nobody wastes a bunch of time searching for a solution. The XLR cable I was using was old and for whatever reason would not work with the Microphone. The Cable worked with an old dynamic mic but not with the Behringer.
