Automation

Post by fredrikberg » Thu Aug 01, 2013 11:25 am

Hi!

Would it be possible to manually write values for the volume automation. It's a little tricky getting exact values on the touchscreen.

Best regards

Not currently, but if you zoom a track so it takes up the entire screen vertically, it's much easier to get accurate values.

Is it possible to add this feature. It would make things alot easier (for me at least).

Thank you for a great product. I'm using Auria as my only DAW together with Apogee Quartet. :-)

Cheers

I'm not sure how to do it properly. All the usual gestures are taken. The only thing I can think of is having a menu item to set a value. But that's cumbersome.

how about tapping on the automation value in the box at the top where it appears brings up an enter value pop-up box? It would mean that values would need to remain for a few seconds after the finger comes off the screen to give people a chance to tap the value before it disappeared.

That's not a bad idea, actually.

Thanks,

Perhaps the same approach could be used for Clip Gain...
