Plugin Wishlist Thread

Post by Israel » Sun Dec 15, 2013 11:30 pm

Hi everyone. I wanted to start this thread for everyone to share what plugins you would like to see on auria so that we can all see and make a type of...err...informal union and make petitions to plugin developers for ports of their plugins. If we can all send requests to each developer that is posted in this thread, they'll hopefully see the demand for the plugin and supply to us with ports of the plugins!
Hope this post helps bring some new goods to us Auria users!

Toontrack EZDrummer might be nice.

Another thread got me thinking about this, and ajmack requesting EZdrummer.
I'd like iGog as a plug in or IAA app.
I know it seems to have been abandonded but it has the potential to be a bit of a game changer.
Imagine it integrated into Auria, and able to load gog files from Auria's gog directory.
Bit presumptious of me I suppose, but it surely wouldn't be that hard to do, the iGog interface is already there, IAA is already in Auria.
It would be great as it is, but with a velocity feature, a couple more pads, and loading Auria's gog files it would be a smash hit (for me!)
Maybe if there's enough interest Rim could be persuaded ......

Hi guys! :)

Auria already has some gr8 fx, but here's some that I would like -

. CamelSpace, CamelPhat
. Mutitap delays - like OhmBoys / OhmBoyz
. Convolution reverb that has more control (over the length shape of the tail, etc)

Thanks for reading, I wish u all the best <3

Ah, yes, a simple multitap delay, along the lines of waves multitap or reaper's readelay would be awesome. Also, an eq on the convolution verb, or the ability to insert a chain of plugins on an aux would be fantastic.

I would love to see VB3 get ported over to iOS (with Audiobus and IAA support, of course)....

Unfortunately, [Zio] Guido Scognamiglia (the developer) has no plans to do so. :( A real shame, since VB3 is probably the best-sounding [B3] tonewheel organ VST plugin. I A/B'd it against NI's B4II: VB3 won hands-down...its Leslie simulation is far superior (though slightly darker, a touch of EQ brightens it up quite nicely).

Oh, well...at least we have Yonac's very respectable Galileo Organ. :)

Alright cool! Getting great feedback!
Just remember though guys, especially if you're someone with a request too, try to reach to some of the developers from the posts on this thread to help others out too. This will let the developers know that there's a demand and spark the supply!

+1 for some other auto tune options besides reTune, which doesn't really work for me.

The official Auto Tune is available as an IAA plugin.

A new auto tune plugin was released recently, it's called "another take." In some circles it's also known as "vocal lessons would benefit," or definitely in my case "you are a bassist, not a singer."

Hey Guys,

I just finished a post regarding the issue with ReTune, (which I bought the other day). Although, I have seen and heard, (on YouTube) about 'Mu Voice' by the same Mu Technologies.
Looks like the step up for ReTune. Mu Voice is More of a harmoniser, which is why I purchased ReTune, for it's harmonising capabilities.

+1 for EQ on convolution (or even a LP/HP filter)

Rim, are you referring to the Auto-Tune iOS app? I've tested it on a voice-like synth patch and found it seem to tune a little flat (15c below 440). It also doesn't have fine tuning or many of the other needed controls. Despite Retune's limitations, I still get better results from it.

Agree with other folks in this thread that we still need a good auto-tune on the platform..

I agree. If anyone knows a good one, ask the developers to port over their plugin to Auria. We don't make any money on plugins - we pass it all along to the developer of the plugin, so ask any developers you might know that make plugins you want to see in Auria.
