Hi,
I'm new to Auria (bought the app in late december 2013) and must say I truely love everything about this app and it's informative forum. Here's my first recording in Auria, using DM1 for drums and MicroWarmer to gain the overall sound. Hope you like it!

Very nicely done, and that riff is quite catchy!
Re: First pop attempt in Auria
lots of fun with a Cure type feel and a big fat wobbly sound. love the modulation @ 2'00", the Low/Heroes/Berlin era bowie-esque guitar figures thru that section then the suggestion of major/minor mashing at 2'22-24". great stuff

Thanks, Sodium! My friend also mentioned Bowie. I love Bowie’s innovative way of writing and thou I didn’t think of him writing this straight forward pop tune I’m glad my “hidden influences” surface Auria is the best app DAW I’ve encountered so far and it’s a joy to sit down and creatively drown in its splendidness. Do you have any song made in Auria available for listening?

Not yet. Am still just learning my way around Auria yet and doing a fair bit of local travelling at the moment as well as bringing up three young kids, so time is scarce... But that's the reason I got Auria, so I can start creating in stolen moments. Am travelling to Paris soon and hope to write some stuff on the long flights too....ArmArnA wrote:Thanks, Sodium! .... A fun track! Was instantly doing a micro headbang to the beat. It's usually hard to get a convincing drum sound on he iPad, and the electronic drums worked quite well on this guitar oriented song. Keep it up!
