When recording MIDI (via the on screen keyboard) the loop function does not work.
Is this expected behaviour? It makes the job of building up a MIDI drum pattern quite laborious, especially as when overdubbing the MIDI track one cannot hear the existing underlying rhythm. Various workarounds seem convoluted.
For a Pro DAW this seems a basic function - could it be added as a future update?

Auria does not have loop recording of any kind. You can however select Midi Record Overdub Mode under the Edit menu which allows you to add notes to an existing midi track while hearing the notes already placed on that midi region. This loop recording feature has been requested on the Auria Wish List for years.

Auria has no loop recording of any kind. As a workaround, for MIDI, you can use LK or Atom AUv3 to do MIDI loop recording.asaph68 wrote: ↑Thu Nov 19, 2020 11:46 amWhen recording MIDI (via the on screen keyboard) the loop function does not work.

Thank you both for your helpful replies.
I do have Drumperfect Pro - which at least gives me drum options.
