Recently I bought a new iPad Pro 2018 with the USB C port. I previously had an Air 2 and used the Focusrite iTrack Dock. Unfortunately, it is no longer compatible with the newest iPad. Can anyone advise what is a compatible interface for my new iPad? Also, what cables will i need and what do I need to power the iPad while I record?
Any and all suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Hi,
I haven't done much with Auria Pro on my iPad Pro while connected to an external audio interface, but at least output 7 and output 8 of my Focusrite do work at 44.1 KHz when using it with Auria Pro.
The working setup:
iPad Pro model number MTFR2FD/A
Apple USB-C Digital AV Multiport Adapter
Focusrite Scarlett 18i20 2nd Gen
No special cable is required, just a standard USB 2.0 A/B cable.
Regards,
Ralf

I have the IPad Pro 2018 500gb and use the Steinberg UR22 MK II. I have tested several generic USB-C to USB/HDMI adapters from eBay and all 3 have worked no problem. As the USB-C connector isn’t proprietary like the lightening adapter it’s not essential to actually buy offical Apple connectors.
