Coming back into DAW recording after a bit of a hiatus, I’ve been testing drum programs. So far, I’m liking Digistix the most. It has AUV3 and standalone versions (which lets me play around with drum parts before I start adding other instruments), does velocity layers and round robin for a natural sound, lets me swap sounds from different drumkits or add my own samples, has a nice mixer, lets me step sequence or play stuff from a keyboard, and is in general a joy to use.
The only thing I wish it would do that it doesn’t is route to separate outs.
What are you guys using for drums?

Re: Drums with Auria
Hi, i know it’s an old post but I’m myself just getting back into recording after this covid year of stress but we’re all here thank God!
Well, my favorites are DeumSession, Rock Drummer from Lumbeat, all these sound like there’s a real drummer playing with you. They have song mode which really helps me. Hope this helps!

Yeah I have to say I tried them all
The only two apps worth the price are DPP and Drum session
I liked lumbeats back in 2020
But not these days - look at the app reviews: 50 5/5 star reviews in 6 months? No one downloads an app like that in a short period
Stick with The main reliable two
