Re: Tracks Missing in Edit Window
Rim, Yes, I know I did it to myself. And neither one of us enjoyed it. I had a couple of backups, but one was hosed by the initial faux pas, and the other somehow became corrupt as well. So no, no backups. Unless, there is some automatic backup that goes up to itunes or the cloud that I'm not...

Re: Tracks Missing in Edit Window
I thought I'd add a couple of additional pieces of info that might help. First, I should have pointed out in my previous account that when I renamed the project, I used iFunbox to rename it, rather than doing it in Auria. I did get a couple of "Auria Can't Back-up Your File" messages, or s...

Tracks Missing in Edit Window
I was doing backups tonight. I backed up several projects, using iFunbox and my PC's file manager. My goal was to free up some space on the computer, and keep in Auria only the projects we're currently working on. After doing the backups, I decided (and here's where the trouble probably began) that ...

Re: Auria Freezing During Editing
Rim, One last question regarding your suggestion to reboot the iPad, create a new project and record into that. Do you mean to create a totally new project, in which case, I'd have to audio copy/paste the tracks I had previously recorded, otherwise, I'd be starting from scratch. Is there any other w...

Re: Auria Freezing During Editing
Rim, Thanks. I suspected this was probably the issue. However, If I set the "Record Latency (samples)" to 4096, as you've described, won't there be an unacceptable amount of latency when monitoring? And if so, can I fix that by doing a loop back test, and then entering a "Record Laten...

Re: Auria Freezing During Editing
Washboy, You mentioned in your topic post that you never found a solution to your problem. What did you ultimately do? Learn to live with it? Buy a new iPad? Also, in your decription, it seemed this only happened to you when you were in "Play" and tried to change settings. Did you also get...

Re: Auria Freezing During Editing
Anthony and Washboy, Thanks so much for your quick replies. I watch this forum quite a bit, and see your responses all over the place. You guys should both get some kind of award for helping folks out. I strongly suspect that Washboy may be correct. I've read other responses about a fundamental bug ...

Auria Freezing During Editing
I have another post outstanding on this topic, but it has gotten lengthy, and perhaps contains some misleading descriptions. And so far I have no solution to my problem. Hence the new post. The symptoms: I am working with a track that has three drum tracks, guitar, and banjo. (I know, some would con...

Re: stuttering
Jimhenry,
I realize your post is fairly old, but hopefully you're still out there, working successfully with Auria. I am currently having the same "stuttering" problem that you describe.
Did you ever resolve your problem and, if so, how?
Thanks,
Travis

Re: Glitchy Performance Requiring Mutiple Restarts
I thought removing the dock extender cable from the chain had fixed/improved things, but this turns out not to be the case. In an eight-hour session yesterday, the problem kept recurring: after frequent and rapid moves of the cursor or locator points on the screen, the program would start a stutteri...

Re: More Reliable Way of Importing DM1 Tracks Into Auria
Anthony, Thanks for the suggestions. The iTunes file-sharing option didn't work for me. When I selected DM1 from the apps list in iTunes, the folder was empty, so for some reason iTunes couldn't see the drum tracks. I wonder if the iOS 8.3 security upgrade is the culprit, since it locked down app sa...

More Reliable Way of Importing DM1 Tracks Into Auria
I have been using the Export Song feature of DM1 to get drum tracks into Auria, uploading each drum as a separate track to DropBox. However, it is very unreliable and often, after an hour or so of transfer time, I'll get a DM1 message that "an error has occurred, retry or call support." Wh...

Re: Glitchy Performance Requiring Mutiple Restarts
I removed the dock extender from the signal chain. Over a two hour session, I only had to restart the once, after a strange clicking sound began, with the transport paused. So, things are much better.

Re: Glitchy Performance Requiring Mutiple Restarts
Corey,
I'll test without the dock extender and see how it goes. Thanks.
