1.09 fixed the pop when time stretching loops!
EDIT: No pops after 1.09. Thanks Rim!
Has anyone else had this issue. It's a single pop right at the beginning of the audio file. When I zoom in I can see it.
It only seem to happen when I stretch a drum loop from a lower tempo to a higher one. I can take the same loop and slow it down without any pops showing up.
I always use 'Best Quality', and have tried 'Standard', and 'Extreme' both producing the same audible pop at the beginning of the loop.
Any thoughts?

Re: a pop introduce after time stretching.
Can you send me the original (non-timestretched) loop? I'd like to try this here.
Thanks,
Rim

I did a search on the forum, and sent a dropbox link to rim@drumagog.com, hope that's correct.fusionarts wrote:what's your email again?

Re: a pop introduce after time stretching.
I doesn't seem to happen if i'm slowing down the tempo, but when speeding it up.

Re: a pop introduce after time stretching.
Thanks, I've looked at the file, and it seems this may be an issue with the Dirac code. I've contacted them about it to check it out. It only happens if the sample begins very close to the start of the region, and only for shrinking the region. FYI, I found that Preview mode works fine and is unaffected by this.

Re: a pop introduce after time stretching.
Thanks for looking into this Rim. For now I just zoom in really close, and split the region right after the pop, then time stretch it to fit back into my project. Hopefully the developers will find a way to fix it in the future, but until the I can work around it no problem.
I'll try the ''Preview" quality you suggested as well.

I shake my head in amazement at the way you fix these bugs so fast. I'm looking forward to 1.08 almost as much as I was looking forward to 1.07.Rim wrote:I've fixed the problem, and it'll go into 1.08.
