If a Midi AU outputs several notes, then Auria Pro v2.20 only picks up the first note of a chord or of multiple drum hits.
How to reproduce
- On a midi track, insert a Rozeta XOX
- For steps 1,5,9,13 programm a BD, SN and CL, so its three notes every beat
- Rewind, record enable the track record
=> only one note is recorded per beat. The bug also happens when sending the AUs midi to other tracks.
I verified this bug with Rozeta CELLS, XOX and RYTHM.
.
On the Audiobus forum the developer mentioned:
Brambos wrote:In CoreMIDI a MIDI message may contain multiple simultaneous events. I suppose that explains it, but I'm surprised Auria does not support this yet, as it's a common iOS MIDI idiosyncracy (which existed long before AU MIDI)?

Thanks, I'll put this on the list to investigate.

BTW: Auria Pro does not pick up the notes from the new MIDI AU keyboard KB-1 - one can‘t record these notes or send them to other tracks or instruments.

I just verified that the midi chord bug was indeed fixed with Auria Pro V 2.21 update.
Thanks for fixing the problem !
